Happy almost Thanksgiving!!! It's been so long since I've done a post and the only excuse I can give is that it's been a busy month! Now that the holidays are here, I'll be doing more frequent posts and hopefully will be able to keep it up into the New Year!
Today we had the most beautiful snowfall just in time for Thanksgiving, and I broke out my fedora again because I'll use just about any excuse to wear it. Living in New York in an area with one of the highest snowfalls is a blessing and a curse. From the pictures I'm sure you can tell that I'm not a snow hater - I really do love the way it makes everything look completely different. It feels like a whole new place when everything's covered in white. Plus skiing, snowboarding, sleigh rides, snowmen and sledding are all great. But I was reminded of why I'm not always so enthusiastic when I had to drive to the store to get some things for the dessert I'm making for tomorrow's dinner. Driving while it's snowing at night is not a favorite past-time of mine. I basically white-knuckled it all the way to Wegmans and back. Hopefully the roads are clearer by tomorrow! We'll be heading to my parents house for dinner and then we're off to spend the evening with Spencer's family. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Have fun and safe travels! These shots are gorgeous, you could be in a magazine! I definitely understand how posting sometimes takes a backseat with school. Same here, but I'm looking forward to future posts!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ele - you're so sweet!! Yeah, med school is a full time job with LOTS of overtime (as you well know!). It's so encouraging to read your posts and see your pics on Instagram - nothing better than sharing this med school journey with friends! :)
