Well I'm finally back after a week of catching up on all sorts of random stuff. Having tests on a Monday is so inconvenient and plus, the weather here has been awful! When its not freezing, its raining - not optimal for outfit pics. I wore this shirt and jeans with Sperrys to class on Wednesday. I decided to spice it up for this post by switching out the Sperrys for heels and by adding one of my favorite bags. I love this look because it's really versatile and contains pieces that almost everyone has in their closet.
In medical school news, I'm finishing up applications for research positions and also getting more involved with some volunteer opportunities (including the refugee clinic). Volunteering in medical school is such a great reminder of what medicine really is. Its so easy to focus on grades and the next big exam, but volunteering gives you the chance to interact with real patients. It makes me so eager to get to 3rd year clinicals!
