Professional Style

shirt{elle}, pants{vince camuto}, belt{express}, shoes{nine west}, bag{express}

This is my first work-wear style post! I'm really excited to start building my professional wardrobe. To be completely honest I'll begin by saying that I started the year off with one pair of dress pants. I recently got another pair, but I'm obviously working with a minimal number of pieces. Being a student living off of loans, I know how difficult it can be to build a killer professional wardrobe, while trying to maintain a responsible budget. My goal is to use work wear style posts to share any tips I find helpful and I hope that you'll share your secrets as well!

  Up until this past week, we hadn't had any official patient encounters. Our clinical skills class used patient actors who'd been trained on what to say during the session. This week we began our clinical experiences with real patients, and this was the outfit I put together. I'm all about conservative professional style paired with interesting and pretty details. The silver belt and jeweled collar are nice ways to spice up a classic outfit.

 Check back in for more work-wear posts in the future!
