Stopping in quick to do a photo dump from our first day in Charleston. I can't even describe how beautiful this city is. The pictures don't do it justice. I was in heaven with all the colors and gorgeous detailing on the buildings. I was also really surprised to find that the city was easy to navigate. It's small enough to walk around easily and we were able to park from noon to midnight for only ten dollars.
Charleston has such a rich history and walking through the streets lined with brick houses and bursting with color was the perfect way to spend our anniversary.

  1. Glad you had a great time! I went there a few years ago for my bf's family reunion, and If I'm not mistaken, I think we went to the same market. I'm not sure if he's still there, but there was a guy selling silver jewelry with pearls in them, and I found the best pearl ring that I never take off. It was also blazing there but we went in July, so hopefully the weather was a bit more tolerable :-)

    1. I didn't see pearls but they had some BEAUTIFUL jewelry there! Thankfully it wasn't too bad last week. It got into the 90's the last two days we were there, but that was only at midday. I can only imagine what it's like in July!!
