Beanies are a must-have when you live somewhere that gets snow six months out of the year and then has a chance of snow two more months out of the remaining six! I used to gravitate towards more neutral colors thinking that I wouldn't have to worry about matching. I've totally changed my mind now - I love the bright colored beanies that give a pop of color. Especially in the post-holiday months, they add some color to the otherwise muted hues. I found this hot pink and white one at American Eagle for $10, but it's no longer online. I've rounded up some other options though. The North Face one is more expensive, but after seeing how Christine at Hello Fashion blog styled it - I'm waiting to see if it goes on sale!
