Pumpkins

even Harvey got his own pumpkin!

All of the sudden it's the second half of October! Since I'm only a week in to my third unit and Spencer has some time off before starting his new set of classes, we've been overdosing on fall festivities. Family scavenger hunt? check. Walk through a haunted house (or in my case run)? check. Watching a scary movie (or two)? check. A trip to the pumpkin patch? check. 

We actually squeezed our trip to the pumpkin patch in last weekend. After getting back from Toronto, we had a free day before classes started back up. The weather was sunny and 70, probably the warmest I remember it being while picking out pumpkins. It may have taken us longer than any of the kids who were there, but we found our pumpkins! I hope everyone else is enjoying fall as much as I am!
