This past week, my younger sister found out she'd gotten a bid from the sorority she'd been rushing. I wasn't in a sorority in undergrad, but I had lots of friends who were, and the one thing they all agreed upon was that pledge is miserable. Knowing that the next two weeks would be rough, I decided to send her down some pretty things to cheer her up - a pledge week survival kit of sorts. Pretty paper in her sorority colors, glitter glue, note cards and crystal earrings with her sorority mascot, delicate ribbon with glitter and sequins, and of course some chocolate. Nothing like a package full of sweets to brighten up the day!
