Off we go on a new adventure. We'll be up in the Adirondack Mountains through Monday escaping into the clean, quiet lakes and mountains. We're going to be hiking another high peak, but other than that we have no plans. The times when we've just hopped in the car and cruised along with John Mayer playing in the background, have been the best times we've spent there. Two summers ago we wandered to this beautiful lake tucked away from the road, and spent the afternoon soaking it all in. We drove around another secluded lake and discovered the most beautiful lake house. We decided then and there that our future must include something similar. But for now, I'll take a rented lake house, a tiny little car, and all the beauty that my eyes can take in during three days.
